As artificial intelligence continues to advance, it is becoming an increasingly important topic in the art world. Many artists are discussing how to ethically utilise these powerful new AI tools while maintaining a healthy relationship between technology and humanity.

To help address these issues, Autonom. will be hosting a Workshop to introduce participants to generative AI as a tool in artistic creation and how to use such tools responsibly and ethically.

Workshop Run-down

Part 1: Introducing human intelligence vs artificial intelligence

This part of the workshop will share and compare the differences between how human intelligence develops and how it compares to artificial intelligence. 

Activity 1: Introduction to engine prompting

The activity allows participants to get a taste of how to curate a useful prompt with group activity.

Activity 2: Put into practice

Participants will be invited to conduct a follow-up group activity to put what they learnt in Activity 1 into practice with a proprietary model.

Part 2: AI ethics and responsibility

The speaker will remind us of the controversial issues happening in AI between companies and artists and provide tips on how participants should use AI tools responsibly.
